Beautiful little gem hidden in this town. Fantastic open air atmosphere. Our server was attentive and personable. The food was delicious. I had the ahi special, cooked to perfection. My husband had the local steak, also cooked perfectly. They had great happy hour specials. And the mint chip ice cream pie was a perfect, delectable ending. We will be back!
Great atmosphere and attentive service. But falls short in charging $4 for substitutions. Blackened seared Ahi is so so. Mashed potatoes lack flavor. The rest of my group loved their food. It's definitely worth a try, just not for everyone.
Just got to Kauai 3 days ago and went to the Bistro for dinner twice. The food is superb! The appetizer rib and also mushroom risoto are amazing. Had the prawns risoto for main and am still dreaming about it. The wines are great and you can choose anything from a reasonable price range. The staff is professional and yet caring. On Saturday we listened to live music, the duo were amazing, stunning jazzy music you want to hear when enjoying a nice dinner. This place is very very special. Id give it 10 stars if I could!!!!
We went here for our anniversary dinner and so glad we chose this over any of the restaurants on Kauai. Everything was delicious! We had the Beet salad, Chicken Marsala, Blackened Ahi and the Grasshopper Pie for dessert. The sauces on everything were amazing!
Gumbo and pineapple crumble were the best of what we ate! I’m not even a huge fan of polenta or pineapple desserts but I couldn’t get enough!
The setting, food and staff were all amazing. Had a fantastic waiter, Alex, who guided us through all our decisions and had great recommendations. His descriptions of all the dishes we had were perfect.
